Hockey advanced analytics hurt players on a really good team because they make comparison to just their team as compared to the league as a whole and Points play off performances and better cap hit (compared to Mathews) (who knows how badly Barkov breaks the bank next year) make up for the slight differences in those numbers

You seem really really confused here, I am not saying I would trade Point for either of them. I am saying they are better players, contracts have absolutely nothing to do with that.

As for this "Hockey advanced analytics hurt players on a really good team," literally both Toronto and Florida were better than Tampa last year in the regular season which is where those graphs come from so your argument only reinforces my claim on them being better
