In the past 3 years their impact has been better. This is not a potential based list because then obviously Dach is at least 2nd

Alex Nylander is the only player who people just kind of blindly like for a reason I don’t understand. I see a player who is absolutely forgettable on ice. No one treats him like a threat. And occasionally he makes a play to keep defense on edge but that’s about it.

Hagel and Dach have had way more of an impact in their careers so far compared to Nylander.

Not really. If Dach did not get injured he would prob be up their but unfortunately that is part of the game

Nylander became a healthy scratch in playoffs while Dach is playing 20 minutes a night. Dach and Hagel are locks to make the lineup this year and Nylander is on the outside looking in. So, yes really.

This wasn't based on this season coming up. I expect Dach to take a big step this year anyways. Really the only two guys that are way ahead of everyone would be Debrincat and then Strome. The rest can be configured anyway you want the way I see it.

Yes it wasn’t based on this season coming up, that’s why I used the playoffs example. Dach playing 20 minutes a night in the playoffs, getting PK and PP time as a rookie. Nylander playing 10 minutes until he’s healthy scratched. Dude couldn’t even make the Sabres full time when he was over there. He’s not the player you think he is.
