Description
I'd like to see these lines or something close to it for at least the first 9 game tryout season games. I doubt it happens, but man it would be fun to watch! Don't worry about the money from Ryan. I don't care if he gets 3 million this year just sign him to a 1 year deal already! Unless we wanna tank... No I didn't put in Veleno because I just can't fit him in the top 9 and want him to get minutes.

give it a year and raymond might be on the first line, also leddy should be with hronek.

honestly just swap raymond and bertuzzi and its good.

The only downside with Leddy with Hronek is their games are very similar. I'd want to be able to balance the lines, which is why Leddy is going to work great with Seider (they'd be able to play off each other), and Hronek would be better with a more defensive dman (I think DDK is the answer, but Staal may work).

Leddy and Seider have looked like they are working great this preseason and The ZLR line has looked fantastic together that's why I am doing those lines. Raymond has been the best player on the ice this preseason.

Yeah forget what I said about leddy and hronek, it was just a mixup in my mind, but saying Raymond's been the best player on the ice this preseason is definitely an over-exaggeration, you should always take these training camps with a grain of salt. Has Raymond been the best prospect? Yes, definitely. I'd say he's definitely better than Veleno for example. Has he been better than Seider? That's debatable. But you gotta realise that the regulars, and seider for that matter, we're already pretty much guaranteed, while Raymond is trying to win a place on the roster. Of course he's gonna look good, especially since we barely expected him to be NHL caliber, that doesn't mean that tossing him on a line with Zadina and Larkin will work out. I don't really wanna see him with Zadina and Raymond yet, I'd much prefer to see him on a line with Suter, in a lower pressure environment to develop. He hasn't played a single regular season game in North America, not in the AHL, not in the OHL, and not in the NHL, and he's 19 years old. There's like 2 or 3 other under 20 players in top 6 roles in the NHL right now, and they're Tim Stützle, Alexis Lafrenière, and maybe William Eklund. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Grand Rapids, and I probably wouldn't argue that it's the wrong decision.
