If Poehling, still waivers exempt, continues to not give a f*ck, I could totally see him in Laval with RHP competing for an extra foward/roster spot with Perreault & Paquette.

Beaudin is better than you think and Josh Brook wil play top pair with Scheuneman when he's returning.

I’ve seen Beaudin play in the preseason. He’s probably more suited as a C, and even if you put him on RW, he wouldn’t be ahead of Bourque, Ylönen, or Belzile. Although I guess you could rework the bottom-6 to be this:
Dauphin - Beaudin - Bourque
Pezzetta - Roy - Fortin

Brook will play top pair, although he’s out at least 3 months, so we’ll see when he returns and what the situation is when he returns.

I think Belpedio and Ouellet become the top pairing and Archambault plays. Bourque choses not to stay, Vejdemo and Ylonen make the NHL healthy scratches list, and Beaudin plays 2nd line minutes. Also, Dauphin deserves 1st line minutes over Vejdemo, he's very solid.

Schueneman was Laval’s #2D last year behind Leskinen, and Fairbrother is the only Rocket D who’s still with the habs, so he’s clearly very well thought of.

Archambault doesn’t even have an AHL contract.

Bourque signed with Laval 4 months ago, I have no idea why he wouldn’t be willing to play now.

Vejdemo has already been cut from the habs, why would Ylönen be made a healthy scratch? He’s a prospect and he can’t even leave Canada yet.

Beaudin isn’t as good as Dea and has next to no offensive upside. He’s a good bottom 6 shutdown guy.

I agree about Dauphin over Vejdemo, I just went with Vejdemo since he has more offensive upside.

I thought Bourque had signed an AHL tryout contract. Archambault will most likely sign, he's got a lot of upside. Beaudin is a great player (at least as far as I've seen) with a good bit of AHL scoring upside. I don't think he plays above Dea, I was assuming two of the current top-six make the NHL. If not he still makes a great 3rd line center. I love watching Fairbrother play and like Schueneman too but I feel like production and minutes wise Belpedio and Ouellet play the "top pair" even though Fairbrother and Schueneman are the better pairing.
