Quoting: Gmonwy
TBH Subban would probably play on our bottom pair and take ice time away from most likely Kylington who actually NEEDS good ice time after this pre-season
Don't know much about Johnsson.
We didn't qualify Jankowski, why would Trevling want him back? Vesey we could have had for free when leafs put him on waivers and in free agency. Can Zacha take Tkachuk's spot in the top 6?
Seriously, I would not add Subban, Jankowski, Johnsson to any real offer. I was just playing around.
Zacha can play top-6LW. He is also a C.
More offense at wing. Great wrist shot. Should match or come close to Tkachuk goal output.
Big, but not "a big". He is more of a quiet 6'3" 220.
Won't match Tkachuk's physicality, but big/physical enough to push through opponents' physicality.
Can move a little, but not a transition player. Prefers to be 2nd, 3rd guy entering zone.
Great at finding space off the puck.
Has played very well with Hischier and Bratt (both can move with the puck).
If you put him as third piece with two possession style players, that suits him the best.
Earlier in his career, they tried to make him into defensive center.
Had ups and downs. Can still play there, and may start at 3C for NJD this year.
Most of his experience has been at C. So the versatility is nice.
Also, he is Pickles' best friend.
