He is entering Holl territory for me. Only looks good when paired with Nylander and Tavares. He is proving to be very expandable, need to see way more from a guy making 3.5 mil. He was the highest paid player last night in the lineup and guys making league min looked way better. He has had some nice flashes in the exhibition games but pretty invisible if you ask me. Trading Kerfoot allows the Leafs to keep their depth and potentially add a player. Honestly, Simmonds wouldn't even be on my roster.

I agree, The only thing about having Simmonds is he is someone that could possibly keep guys in check from taking cheap shots. BUT besides that he looks terrible out there.
Bunting, Kase, Kampf, Soup, Ho-Sang and I would go as far as Engvall even though it was one game have looked better than Kerfoot this preseason. Engvall has one less goal than Kerfoot in each of the last two years with far less minutes and oppurtunities. If they could move him it would allow more cap freedom.

Kerfoot has under achieved ever since the leafs got him. He plays good for a few games in the playoffs last year and people think he's unreplaceable. You trade him for a gritty winger in the 2 million range and give up a late draft pick if necessary. Someone like Crouse from the coyotes comes to mind.
