I hope, but the Sabres have so many NHL contracts for wingers it will be interesting to see who gets cut or if they end up throwing him back on waivers

The consolation for me here is that the Sabres rank #3 on my list of teams and I already own a jersey, so a little bit of tape and paper and my Eichel jersey becomes a Jonsson Fjallby jersey.

My guess is he gets waived again before Game 1 of the Season with the idea that few if no teams could steal him due to roster space.

Buffalo was just hunting for some more flow for their AHL team

I hope the capitals finesse him back on the team through waivers. Rather have him and let someone like Pinho go through waivers.
