    I think so, but if he keeps playing (which i believe he will) he's all Edmonton's. Why would he retire for the Final year of his contract? Just stick it out and collect your 5.25 million

    Because he won't make 5.25 mil, his cap hit is that much but his actual salary is 1.5 mil. You can make an argument for his retiring on only that money... But Keith loves to play and is such a machine, he'll likely play on that reduced salary, especially if Edmonton shows improvement this year.

    That's a definite nope from the leafs, kral showed really well this preseason and we have too many cheap forward options to choose from already.

    Kieth wont retire. And MacLeod is nog a 3C, he is that 4C with good skating. Holloway could be a great 3C. So switch them. There is a zmall windoe that Kassian will be just as good as before, small chance though. I thi k his best role is though as a goalscoribg police.
