I think if you can get him 9 games to give him a taste, he's earned it. Might be good timing for him to play until Sunny is back, then send him to WHL (and WJC) without burning a year of the ELC. Everything he has done at camp suggests he deserves a shot, and not wanting to waive a guy like MacEachern or Clifford shouldn't be a reason to cut him.

So my vote is 'yes'.

honestly I was a bit late on this, but now afterwards I think he's solidified a spot at least until sundqvist comes back if not for the entire season, because I like him over Kostin. Kostin just seems like at times he can't find his skates. It's rough at times with him, but it seems like Neighbours is always effective in the Ozone and in the neutral zone. Makes some key defensive plays too. Seems like he skates circles around certain players as well.
