That Detroit trade is awful for Detroit in my opinion. Lavoie is alright, might be a middle six guy. Lavoie and the second and third get Leddy retained I think, throw in namestnikov just cause but I don't think he gets retention and considering the cap space left he doesn't need it. Rowney can be thrown in to whatever, but Russel and shore don't have any value to Detroit. You haven't added enough for us to get kassian as far as I'm concerned. Take alot more for us to take him on.

Detroit trade just makes no sense for Edmonton to do.
If the ducks are willing to move Gibson that just seems like an offseason move maybe at the draft with the term remaining just makes more sense for the ducks to get as many teams in the mix as possible that’s unlikely at deadline.

Would love to see Gibson here but I think it will cost more than that offer. Konovolov would have to be in there I would think. Lavoie or Halloway instead of Turris. Yes, steep, but the Oilers would be locking down their guy for all the Cup runs!!
