Description
Idk just trying stuff out. Looks like Strome will be playing bottom 6 in CHI. Maybe the sens could revive his career on the 2nd line. The blackhawks need picks since they gave up a pair of 1st rounders for Jones. I feel like two 2nd round picks is fair value, plus Mete who is a #5/6/7 defenseman.

Shane Pinto >>> Dylan Strome (as soon as this season IMO)

So Strome would most likely also be in the bottom-6 in Ottawa

Strome makes no sense when Pinto is already looking like a 2C and prob a lot better than Strome, now if you wanna talk Kirby Dach which fills the RW need to play with Stuztle, then we can rework this trade to add some Players like White, Teirney, Zaitsev, Gustusvon, to go with Mete and the picks.

You are going to like moving the kind of assets you'd have to move to acquire Dach.

What would you say, Ottawa has a very deep protect pool, some Vets, and I would be willing to add a 1st.

Mete isn't of interest to the Hawks is my guess. Dach is a future 1C and franchise player, a step below elite and only 20 years ago. You are talking about giving up a boatload for Chicago to trade him, like Tkachuk is included and not sure Chicago would do it 1 for 1 either.

I agree with you but from my point of view this is just for depth. I love Pinto but I doubt he's ready for a full season at 2C.

This is mostly for depth. I know Pinto will be better than Strome but you need guys that can play

I actually wonder if he won't be the team's #1 Center by the end of the season, and not because Norris isn't good

If he plays with Stutzle and Brown, it might be our best line

Sanderson and Pinto are actually going to be the Sens best players down the road (after Stutzle). I know people think Chabot, Tkachuk and even Norris/Batherson but they are even better

I have hard time betting against Chabot though, I have followed him since his Q days, the guy has ice in his veins. IMO, when Sanderson joins the team is when the team start rising.

I call them The Magnificent Seven™ : Chabot, Sanderson, Stutzle, Pinto, Tkachuk, Norris, Batherson

The thing is the Sens could also have a really great supporting cast with Connor Brown, Alex Formenton, Nick Paul, Ridily Greig, Egor Sokolov, Jacob Bernard-Docker, Tyler Kleven, etc

Yes sir! insane 1-2 punch with Chabs + Sanderson in 2-3 years time (once Sanderson matures). Guys are set for the future now let's just get Tkachuk signed haha.
