So I'd see him about a Zacha level asset ultimately and I could definitely see Romanov become a more dynamic version of Marcus Pettersson

Not going to dump him for a lousy 2nd and B prospect.

Devils have no reason to trade him, so it would have to be a lot

Don't know if you have the pieces that we'd really be looking for. Not much incentive for us to trade him

Think it'd be a 1st, Norlinder and a capdump to make the trade more palpable for MTL. Could throw in retention for Zacha as well.

Understand the Devils aren't in any position to trade him and would need an overpay for him. I don't love Zacha but I understand the value he has now. If and when Holtz and Mercer hit it big, I would definitely trade Zacha for good value to keep the cupboard full and allow young guns to take over.
