Would rather see Peterson in the AHL than on a line with Faksa and Glendening. If Peterson makes the roster, I can't see him playing with those guys. He'll likely be on the 3rd line with Benn & Gurianov/Kiviranta with Raffl, Comeau, and Glendening battling it out for the two 4th line winger spots.

If they play Peterson they'll play him in the top 9 not with grit grinders who suck offensively. If JRob would've played with those players last year he wouldn't've broken out, same thing applies with Peterson.

Except that you pretty much have it spot on, a couple of things that I cherry picked is that Suter won't be on PK it'll be Hakanpaa on the right side and Miro on the left, and switch Rads and Segs from powerplay units.

Kiviranta should 100% be in the top 9. Raffl, Comeau and Glendening should be battling for that spot.

Edit: NVM I miss read what you said. Agree with what you said.

Agree but Benn loves playing with Raffl and Bowness agrees with him. So, at least for the beginning of the season, that 3rd line will be Benn-Raffl-Gurianov.

If Peterson cannot be on the Top 9, he shoud definitively go down in the AHL. Playing him with those offensive extinguishers would only kill his NHL development. Robertson is the perfect example of that.

Exactly, and there's nothing wrong with that. Raffl-Benn-Gurianov are actually a half decent line, and Peterson with Damiani are magic, they'll improve both their games. Ideally I'd want Peterson to play in the top 9, but playing on the 4th line is worse case scenario.
