Knew this was coming. He's been great during camp and pre season, and he's a hard working vet with a positive history with the team. He's definitely been hit or miss in terms of offensive production the last few years, but his stint in Ottawa was a pretty notable hit, and he's a hard working vet, which is always valuable to have around.

He's never been a star, but I enjoy watching him play, especially when he's got the puck down low. He's just a little dude, but he's an absolute gronk with the puck. Just impossible to knock off the puck. He's gonna draw a **** load of penalties if the NHL actually plans on calling cross-checks the way they have in pre-season (they will not actually do this).

A good signing, and expected by most Sens fans. It was just a matter of how much. With the team hovering around the cap floor, anything up to $1.2MM would have been fine. They can always retain if they trade him at the TDL.

Ennis is a good bottom 6 player. I'm pretty happy with this signing.
