The real problem will be the season after when Huberdeau, Weegar and Knight will need extansions.

That’s a really good deal for florida. Open market was at least 11. Florida taxes likely paid a role, but also kudos to the panthers for stepping up with the structure.

It’s really not bad. You can free up 10-11 mill easy, give a 4 mill raise to Huby, 3 mill raise to Weegar and Bridge Knight similar to the Hart deal

Despite his fine season last year, I wonder if that Verhaegae contract is going to good value. Bennett one third of a good season, another iffy contract IMO,
Yea, it's going to too tight next season to keep the band together....like most teams.

Florida got a sweetheart of a deal on Aleksander Barkov, I thought it's be closer to 8 x $10,500,000 or 8 x $11,000,000 to sign him even with the cheap Florida taxes.
