Columbus declines easily. Nothing you’re trading is worth a 1st, let alone 2 of them.

Well as of now Kreider is entering this season on his offside due to a lack of right wings, so.

I really like Schmaltz, but that's a bit hefty of a price...

Then trade them kreider for kessel. We still have too many wingers for the top 9.

That is not the reason he is playing on the right side. He's playing on the right side due to overwhelming wing depth, and they want him in the top 6. If you put Kessel on the team, that means 4million dollar winger Barclay Goodrow goes to the 4th line and Sammy Blais likely gets scratched... that does not make any sense

It really isn't his "off side" since he is comfortable playing either, as he has done several times over the last two years

I see you don't understand how highly teams think of 1st round picks...

Kreider is immovable because of his NMC.

Overwhelming *left* wing depth is what you meant to say. And who cares if Goodrow plays on the fourth line? His $4m is a sunk cost and you’re not going to get that back whether you play him on line 3 or 4, so you can’t use that as your determinant to where Goodrow should play.

I’d kill for
Lafreniere - Zibanejad - Kessel
Panarin - Strome - Kakko
Kreider - Chytil - Kravtsov/Goodrow
Blais - Rooney - Kravtsov/Goodrow

If you’re still panicking about a glut of wings then substitute Othmann with Kravtsov in this trade deal, but I’d rather keep him for a cup push
