    As much as I love John Gibson, I would love to see (have seen?) him traded to a real contender while he's still in his prime. But I would have taken Aatu Raty with that draft pick.

    The Mantha trade is garbage for Detroit, Skjei, Foegele and a 3rd is nowhere enough. Look at what Detroit got from Washington far better then this.

    No, Not anymore considering Yzerman traded Mantha to the Capitals and is nowhere near enough for Mantha anyways.

    Nah. The chances of Smith repeating his .923 season (even though it was only a few months ago) are slim, he's probably going to be in the .915 range this year. If he platoons with Gibson, who is usually in the .905 range, that'll produce a .910 for the tandem.

    I don’t think you realize just how bad you just made this team. You take a good team, and then you do… this… is just bad. You have just destroyed this team’s depth strength, and turned it into a weakness.
