I'm hoping leddy has a good year, maybe could get a late first for him.

So the Isles pay a 2nd to move 1 forward who will be in the AHL, to get 2 forwards who would be in the AHL for them.

Unless Detroit retains salary on Leddy, that trade can’t happen. Gardiner is LTIR for the season, and canes would need 50% retention. But canes definitely consider if retention is involved.

Those players would replace two thirds of "the best 4th line in the league" 🙄 especially Gagner who still drives play pretty well, they can flank cizikas

Marc Staal has a NMC for a reason and he's not waiving it.

But they wouldn't, and they would be AHL bound for the Isles.

It is a very easy no.

Rangers aren’t paying a 2nd to get someone they traded a 2nd to get rid of

Pretty sure most of that is for Fabbri, Staal is basically a free throw in.

I agree NYR is pretty deep defensively I can't see them even wanting Staal back.

Detroit trading Fabbri depends on how he plays this season. Plus with Suter and Bertuzzi I think he is happy in Detroit for now at least.
