I don’t think we would trade Gurianov for picks. He would have to be part of a larger trade or a one on one trade where each teams fix their own roster issues.

Any players on your mind from the capitals that you would want to trade for that is fair

I’m just a big fan of denis. I feel like he could be a 30+ goal scorer with the caps

We have a lot of old players and Gurianov is one of the few young ones with NHL status and at the beginning of his most productive years.

He also can score and we have so much trouble scoring goals that we would shoot ourselves in the foot by trading him.

And finally, he is cost controlled within a team with very big contracts on the books.

If we are in trouble at the TDL, I could see us unload a lot of vets with expiring contracts and Gurianov is not in that category.

If Nill trade him, my guess is that it would be in the next off season after a poor showing by Gurianov. So, the price would be quite low.

As far as I am concern, I love that player. He is very exciting to watch, has a ton of speed and has a great scoring touch. I would hope that Dallas’ Brass sees him as a part of the future core of the team along with Heiskanen, Hintz, Bourque, Peterson, Johnstone, Oettinger, Robertson and Harley.

Agree. It all depends on how they use him. Put him alongside a great playmaker like Backstrom and he will score over 30 goals.

Our head coach doesn’t have a clue on how to use him. Bowness is one of the worst offensive coach of the league. Our offensive system is build in order to limit scoring chance of the opposition!

So when Backstrom returns from LTIR the Capitals are 2.5 million over the salary cap. This doesn't work.
