We have a lot of old players and Gurianov is one of the few young ones with NHL status and at the beginning of his most productive years.
He also can score and we have so much trouble scoring goals that we would shoot ourselves in the foot by trading him.
And finally, he is cost controlled within a team with very big contracts on the books.
If we are in trouble at the TDL, I could see us unload a lot of vets with expiring contracts and Gurianov is not in that category.
If Nill trade him, my guess is that it would be in the next off season after a poor showing by Gurianov. So, the price would be quite low.
As far as I am concern, I love that player. He is very exciting to watch, has a ton of speed and has a great scoring touch. I would hope that Dallas’ Brass sees him as a part of the future core of the team along with Heiskanen, Hintz, Bourque, Peterson, Johnstone, Oettinger, Robertson and Harley.
