Quoting: Sabres923
Butcher for sure in. Eakin will probably be in the lineup. The Girgensons-Eakin-Okposo line dominated today.
Okposo has had a really good preseason.
While I am not a big fan of Eakin, I agree that line was really good today.
While he has not scored he has been really strong along the boards.
I really liked that top line of Skinner-Mittelstadt-Hinostroza.
I know Hinostroza was slow in getting to the puck which led to the Wings goal, but he did a lot little things that only a veteran knows how to do.
I was surprised that Peterka was still in the line up, in addition to scoring he also had a very nice break away.
I know the wings are not a great team, but the Sabres seemed to be more cohesive than any time last year.
They could make a blind pass knowing a Sabre would be there.
I do not know if I want them to be good, but Granato had them flying yesterday.
EDIT:
I do not know how Karmanos was able to get Butcher with retention and a fifth round pick.
He will fine and either Bryson or Hagg will be the odd man out.
