So there's 3.9million (well, 4.9million with the projected 1mil cap raise) on the books for Kravstov and a 3rd or 4th line center. Though, I really can't see Blais signing for the same AAV as he currently has. And this is all of course if we do let Strome walk.

makar signed 6x9, i have to think if fox gets 9, it’s at a shorter term like that, but at 8 it would be 10+

Makar definitely did not take a discount. He’s one of the highest paid defenseman in the league. Less than $8.5 mil would have been a discount. He set himself up to cash in huge again at 26-27. You’re entitled to your opinion as I am mine and I think Fox takes a discount. You don’t have to like it or agree with me, but that’s what I think.

Fox fought his way to NY… don’t see him having all that much leverage in wanting to go elsewhere
