At least he's going to Seattle. If I could pick one team for him to go to it would be Seattle. Need young forwards that can score and they're a new team.

I legit wanted to get a Kraken jersey to wear around Vancouver and draw the ire of many a Canuck. But as much as I love Gourde I'd never get his Jersey. Now a Barre-Boulet jersey could be the winner. He's probably gonna stroll into top 6 minutes too.

I think Seattle is probably the best place BB could have landed. Lots of open spots and roles to be sorted out this season for them. Probably the best situation he could be in.

I'm confused. What's wrong with getting a Gourde jersey?

I was very vocal about really not liking his contract and thinking he should have been moved early. Admittedly I was wrong. And like all Bolts fans embraced Gourdrowman. But getting a Gourde jersey would've felt like bandwagoning.

For those of you who like keeping up with my current thoughts on our prospects, I present to you my preseason prospect pool assesment.

Not gonna lie the boys looked terrible. Definitely didn't deserve any goals let alone 2. You knew it was gonna go bad when Point completely missed the puck on that wide open shot on our only PP. The announcers said it best. Something along the lines of the 3rd line brought the energy when it was needed. We needed energy tonight and nobody brought it (or really even tried)

Katchouk-Colton-Raddysh coming to your Tampa Bay Lightning this December.

I don't think Raddysh is fast enough. rather Joseph

I want to see:
Palat-Point-Kucherov
Killorn-Cirelli-Stamkos
Katchouk-Colton-Joseph

They looked completely out of sync and just plain lost at times, Penguins were reading everything they tried, and Vasi was not his usual stellar self after a very good 1st period. Hopefully they rebound against the Red Wings on Thursday.

I think our defense situation outside of the Top 5 is going to be sketchy all season. 2020 playoffs was Bogo jumping into a favorable situation next to Hedman at the height of his powers. I think it's fair to say Bogo could have lost a step even since then, and he's no longer paired with Hedman. Foote doesn't do anything to calm the worries until proven otherwise as well. We may come to miss Schenn's predictable 8-10 minutes he could provide.

Constant feed crashes I've only seen 3minutes of tonight's game (2nd Detroit goal, fml)

Stamkos did the thing!

Detroit getting a bunch of Grade A bounces and chances. Except there was one where Bertuzzi made Sergachev look silly.

Larkin was kicked out of the game for intent to injure Joseph. Joseph's original hit could get DoPS on him though.

Wow! What a game.

That was insane. With about 10 minutes left i was preparing my Vasilevskiy let the team down post. btw Larkin has to get suspended for that. Joseph could maybe too, but I don't think he hit Larkin hard enough. If he had hit hi harder he might have been ejected/suspended too.

Vasy wasn't bailing us out, but it's not exactly like we were doing him any favors either. I am quite surprised only Larkin is getting disciplined in that incident, but I guess the NHL takes exception to throwing haymakers at unexpecting players.
