Well, that's a tough one to swallow. Horrific officiating, and yet all that was needed was for Vasi to stop Landeskog in the shootout and a win would've been in the books. Ah well, at least Point came to the rescue, and the Lightning get a point out of this one.
Overall, it was actually quite an encouraging game-every line looked solid, the penalty kill was 5/6, and the offense looked much more in sync than they did against the Panthers. Hopefully they can finally get back in the win column against the Sabres on Monday (and they'd darn better).
Also worth noting: the Lightning have comeback to send the game to OT this year by scoring 6th attacker goals TWICE-2 in that insane comeback in Detroit, and Point tonight.

It was a great movie. I saw it in IMAX and it was a great experience.

It is heavy on the lore of the book (which I haven't read yet), so reading beforehand is likely helpful. You can definitely see how Dune inspired George Lucas in creating Star Wars.

Btw Villeneuve is splitting the book into 2 movies. This movie is only part 1.

A couple of really worrying things: The Lightning have yet to score a single first period goal all season (only team in the NHL that hasn't), and they've yet to hold a lead at any point in regulation. Need to figure things out on offense.

Hangover is real. But a lot of good things came out of last night. Much better powerplay even if they didn't convert. PK was glorious. Process over Outcome. They'll get there.

We were so high on this guy. Does he come back? Crunch move?

I think he is probably off to the KHL. He was with SKA's development program when we drafted him. If he wasn't able to carve out a role in Anaheim then he's probably realized the NHL isn't going to work out.

Unless of course there was some internal falling out. I don't think the Crunch really need forward help though. Defense is the current weak link.
