Engvall is better than Wagner. I rather have an extra roster spot for a league minimum player.

no he isnt, hes awful. and he's not even very physical. And even if he was, he's too bad at hockey for any physicality to matter. He's not even a good AHL player.

at least ritchie could score like 15-20 goals having Matthews/Marner bouncing pucks off him. Wagner would be bad on the marlies

You're right, Engvall isn't a good AHL player. Leafs need to waive him, not sure what he's doing in the NHL

lol, Engvall is literally 10x the hockey player Wagner is when his hip was hurt. Engvall is faster, a better scorer, better playmaker can PK and drive the 4th line. Wagner hits more because he never has the puck.

Honestly i think ritchie is worse than Wagner. I thought they were the two weakest forwards for the bruins last year. I would be so thrilled to be rid of both of them.

Ritchie has his issues but he's skilled enough with the puck to be useful if he just drives to the net. His main issues are in his own end and that he takes dumb penalties. But since the league is obsessed with evening up penalty calls and the leafs dont take a tone of penalties usually that part could at least be useful to get more power plays

His main issue is being horrible at hockey. In addition to that, he’s slow, lazy, and I’m going to guess he’s not in great shape given how dead his legs always are. I can’t believe he got a multi year deal.
