Coyotes decline. Pettersson is a good defensive defensemen, but Chychrun is an incredible 2-way defenseman (on a terrible Coyotes team) and is signed to a deal MILES below market value. A mid-first for the following years' draft doesn't help much either.

Pens honestly don't have the value to get Chych realistically

Even do two firsts, poulin, hallander, POJ and yotes probably still don't decline.

This doesn’t fix anything. Neither team does this. It’s not worth the assets to upgrade from Petty to Chychrun and why would the yotes trade the player they are actually building around for a downgrade. Unless they get an absolute kings ransom, they shouldn’t trade Chychrun either.
