What makes you think you’ll get a first for Lawson Crouse?

Wow, these are all insanely bad. the TDL is usually full of some overpayments, but very rarely that bad. Assuming the TOR one was a joke, I'm hoping the rest were too. If not, you are seriously overvaluing the quality of a lot of these players, and then trading them to team that don't need them, and then taking players they do need.

The pens wouldn’t trade Kapanen or even Zucker alone for Kessel and Galchenyuk

That is such a hilariously bad Toronto trade that is made even funnier based on the context of this ACGM

Responding to a Leafs fan's Chychrun deal. Didn't think it was realistic for ARI to take on so much salary this year or give up their own picks, so instead I added guys I think will be top six forwards for them this year, more or less, and got the cap to almost balance.

To score more points this year and to clear $9M of cap next year. Duh?

eta: also--and I really shouldn't have to explain this--it would be funny. Because, again:

All that's missing here is Arizona trading Zucker and Kapanen for Seguin.

I mean they were second in the league in scoring last year lol. I doubt they really need to do more in that category. Preventing goals was more of an issue and adding Kessel and Galchenyuk for Kapanen and Zucker would make more of an issue in that regard lol. Also Sullivan’s head might actually explode having both Kessel and Galchenyuk at the same time lol

I think Stralman breaks back out as a top pairing defenseman this year, and Killorn gets overtaken on Tampa's detph chart until, when the team is healthy, maybe he's a 3L. It's way too early to make accurate deadline predictions, so let's instead try to make fun ones. Wouldn't it be cool to see Stralman win it all in Tampa this year? What would Tampa do with 5M of cap space next summer? Probably something good.

It's an overpay. I agree. What would be fair?

Killorn has had his best 2 years of his career and Joseph is going to be really good.
Stralman is done really nice person but he's done.
