Detroit should accept, That's a pretty solid offer for Leddy with $1,000,000 retained.

I don't know a bunch about nutivaara but maybe forsling would be a better option for Detroit? Going to need some LD for the next few years and he's a bit younger with term.

forsling is better than leddy, younger, on a better contract... no reason to do that for florida lol

My only issue with the trade is the retention. DET would have only 1 roster spot for retention, and a couple of other guys that might require retention to trade. In my opinion, that trade would work without retention, but with retention would need a little more. Maybe someone with a little higher upside than Lindmark or Nutie...

Nutivaara is a UFA and more than likely will not stay in Detroit so he has little to no value from Detroit's pov. Lindmark is a bottom 6 forward something Detroit has way to much of (Thank you Ken Holland). Keep the players give us a 1st for Leddy (assuming he plays well) then have Detroit retain more or throw in a cap dump.
