I wonder what scenario Craw would accept a trade for? If I'm in his situation, I would be straight up with Bowman: "Either you buy me out or you keep me because I'm not going anywhere".

His NMC is modified. He can select I believe it was 8 teams to NOT be traded too. (Been a while since I read it...) But I want to keep him anyway.

What's all of the incentive (all of a sudden) to trade Craw?

Oh I though it was a full NMC. If thats the case then maybe it would a be a little easier. Although if I'm Crawford I'd pick the 8 teams that need goalies and there are only 5-6 that would do a trade for him and it would be nixed before it even started essentially.

No joke the plan for the next little while is already set in stone for the Hawks. Keep on cyphening off players for cheap replacements until finally you'll ultimately have to trade the easiest of the big name players away for prospects and picks. Probably Panarin or Hjarlmarrson.

No way Chicago gives them away before they do Seabrook or even maybe Hossa (I know he's been having a great season, but he's getting up there in age and Panarin is an offensive superstar). Hjarlmarrson was coming back off of a back injury earlier in the season, but he's their defensive catalyst.

I do not think that the Hawks are going to trade Crawford, i mean he has won two cups with them already. And I dont know why people would want to trade Crawford, he is a great goaltender. I do think this is a fair and good trade, if Bowman did trade. I also dont think Darling would be a replacement for a #1, either, though it could work based on how he has preformed this year.
