Honestly seems like they are trying to do the TBL formula, where top 2 lines are all skill, bottom 2 are all grit. Kravstov gets lost in the mix a bit if they want to keep Kreider on the top line. Kravstov is still going to be a good middle 6 winger on a team, it just doesn't seem like he's going to fit.

I think also Sammy Blais' camp/preseason has pushed Kravstov out the door. The guy looks really good. I've written him off as a trade deadline dump, but if they want to keep him, it might be time to move Kravstov.

But, the point is, just because he's not fitting on this particular team with wing depth, doesn't mean he won't work well in Buffalo where they could use scoring wingers

Not that it matters, but my trade for Eichel was more fair than a lot of others... Chytil, Kravstov, Georgiev, Jones, and a 1st round pick. Also add Strome if possible. There were a lot of trades that were incredibly less fair, so I'll give you that. But there were plenty of Kravstov trades that made sense
