Honestly seems like they are trying to do the TBL formula, where top 2 lines are all skill, bottom 2 are all grit. Kravstov gets lost in the mix a bit if they want to keep Kreider on the top line. Kravstov is still going to be a good middle 6 winger on a team, it just doesn't seem like he's going to fit.
I think also Sammy Blais' camp/preseason has pushed Kravstov out the door. The guy looks really good. I've written him off as a trade deadline dump, but if they want to keep him, it might be time to move Kravstov.
But, the point is, just because he's not fitting on this particular team with wing depth, doesn't mean he won't work well in Buffalo where they could use scoring wingers
