Shouldn’t the leafs be adding more offence to balance things?

ARZ has no interest in Nylander. Give them draft picks/prospects.
Also, Chychrun is not available.

ARI declines though. Chychrun had more goals than Nylander last year...

Did you watch the last 2 playoff/playins the Leafs played in?

Don't get me wrong-Nylander is a really, really solid player, and has a ton of value, I just don't see this deal as something that benefits the Yotes. They're going to be bad, and are likely going to be bad for the duration of Nylander's remaining contract. IMO, if they're moving Chychrun, it's for picks/prospects with a bunch of years of control remaining, not a guy that'll be a UFA by the time they're competitive again.

For the Yotes, this is like digging a whole to fill another hole. Not a lot of point.

Ding ding ding! So many question marks on this offence right now, with Robertson being the only real depth option with upside offensively. *IF* guys like Bunting/Ritchie/Kase hit the mark, then it'll be alright, but that's an awful lot of question marks.

Ho-sang as well. But certainly not deep offensively. Our defence has been rock solid.
