Price magically goes on LTIR to get you under cap... amazing... almost better than 4th line Hoffman!

Price on LTIR next season based on? Theres no indication that will happen, and Chiarot isnt going to fit into our cap for next season.

You believe in magic?
Numbering lines 1-2-3-4 is Neanderthal thinking (my apologies to Neanderthals).

When there’s a will there’s a way. See: Kucherov, Nikita.

if the "will" is to not make the playoffs then ya makes sense.

I mean there is a possibility that he decides to hang them up due to injuries/injury history ala Weber. Highly unlikely but still possible.

I mean ya theres always a slim chance i guesss, but i really dont see that happening. And if it does then need to go find an alternative real quick in nets cuz primeau not ready to be the man yet and Allen is a 1b at best.

That is the risk. You are correct.

Anyone with a lack of faith in Jake Allen wasn’t paying attention last season.
Time will tell re: Primeau’s development. No decision needs to be made today.

I'm a big jake allen fan actually, i think that was a great addition and was greatly needed for some support for Price. But Allen showed last year as well that he is a great back up, but hes had limited success as a start and i dont think that would change considering that our d core is most likely going to be even younger next season.

As for Primeau theres really no upside in rushing him regardless of what happens with Price.

All that to say i think if price is done for good the first things the habs do is either find something who can act in tandem with Allen or add a vet starter who has a year or two left in them.
