    Bruins decline so fast, wheeler's contract sucks and thats also too much for a 35 year old in a positon we dont need

    I dont think the sabres trade is as crazy as some other sabres fans will, but i am not at all a fan of mittelstadt. Upl is a goalie prospect, and goalie prospects dont carry much value. So i know nothing of gustafsson, but i expect the sabres from office would rather keep their guy, unless they had gustafsson as a top 6 center. The other downside for this is that the sabres may very well be trading pick 33 for pick 30.

    the difference in value between barzal and dubois is significantly larger than a 3rd. maybe dubois + perfetti would do it.

    Wow. What a horrible trade for buffalo. Mittelstadt finally looks good, former top 10 pick. Our top rated goalie, who is a top ten goalie prospect. So we can move up from pick 33 to pick 20 something. Wow.

    Lol I’d definitely consider that. Dubios probably tops out as a low end 1C but Perfetti will be a star

    Haha "rebuild" by getting much, much better and rob every team in the trade. The Barzal/Dubois trade is so bad.
