I think with the way the Rangers are going, they will choose Robertson's size over Jones offensive game. We have Fox and Nils to QB the PP so we really dont need Jones there.

they loved jones and wanted to keep him up but nils just won out. Robertson isnt too high for them in depth (fox, miller, lindgren, trouba, lundkvist, nemeth, jones, tinordi, Schneider, Robertson at the moment)

Correct but this isnt necessarily about this year but the future. They love Robertson size and toughness, just like Schneider. I think this is for further down the road in 2 or 3 years when Nemeth, Tinordi, etc are with the NYR anymore.

StL tried to give Tarasenko away in the expansion draft. I realize part of it was an attempt to keep Seattle from taking Dunn. But free.
