NYI 1st would/should be late 1st. Bellows is still waiver wire fodder. Salo goes into.a long line, probably near the back end, of a list of LHD prospect. Komarov is for cap. I get that part.

If Wahlstrom is going to be 3rd line for the next 3 years Sabres can help him out with a top 6 spot. Raty is a must in my mind. No Raty. No trade. And I'd take the 1st.

That said. Probably not trading Dahlin...

Why would the Sabres want to trade their present best defenseman? Acquiring Dahlin would be an even swap for Barzal.
