Y'all have Turk down there coaching now. He doesn't put up with B.S., which is probably why Kravtsov got cut. I'd imagine that Rags fans will be happy with the development of anyone who sticks to his plan this year. Guy is a beauty coach, and team players love playing for him.

They’ll let Kakko tend to the rabbits a bit longer.

You can't say this and then send down someone who already went to the AHL and KHL and came to NHL and got no real chance to end last year and then send him down

Who wins this trade:
JT Miller
3rd round pick (becomes 2nd if Kravtsov gets 40+ pts or plays in 41 games, either condition works)

For

Strome
Kravtsov

Fair enough. Gallant typically rolls 4 lines, so I'm as surprised as anyone, but obviously there's something there that he didn't like.

Makes no sense to have him with Goodrow and Chytil all preseason and say its your best line in camp and that they have good chemistry and then he doesn't make the top 13 forwards

Miller side.
I would rather have Miller over Strome (and thus, Miller side of deal). But Strome has excelled with his line in NY, so I could also see Rangers preferring him.

Yeah, sending him down to avoid potentially losing Hajek is a bogey IMO. Rangers wildly screwed up Kravtsov’s development AND Kravtsov is super immature for refusing to report to Hartford twice. I think both can be true.

Kravtsov has played some center.
Line would need a possession/transition type as 3rd member.

Vilardi between Kravtsov and Tkachev would look real nice.

He reported in 19-20, it wasn't pretty, but he put his head down and went to work, they haven't even really screwed up yet, all they had to was play him, the 3RW spot they penciled him into to start camp would have been just fine

He was drafted, tried to get out of KHL deal, was sent down, returned to KHL, signed his NHL deal, tried out again, was sent down, reported, played 5 AHL games, left for KHL, was demoted to Russian 2nd league, was recalled to NA, sent down again, reported, played 34 AHL games, left again for KHL, recalled again, played 20 NHL games, now declining assignment again.

And its not like its bad agent advice...he has had multiple agents throughout this.

I don't think this is on Drury and Rangers brass.
