Not gonna sneak. NJD gonna be 4th in the metro and 8th in the east before losing to FLA in the 1st round.

I think 2 playoffs in a row, Chiarot has shown his worth. I think another team easily out pays that.

Problem is Montreal is not shopping Chiarot and IF they were, the last thing they would consider is another LHD prospect. Sorry but we already have too many better ones.

Maybe i wasnt clear as i think we are saying the same thing. I meant Chiarot would get a better return than that if he were traded.

Interesting honestly didn't realize that. Where do you feel MTL is thinnest in terms of prospect depth?

Fair. I honestly think this is about what Chiarot on an expiring deal *should* be worth. But realistically with his playoff experience I would not be suprised at all to see someone overpay for him which would blow an offer like this out of the water.
