Can someone explain to me why Price wouldn't be put on LTIR since he'll miss at least a month of action? Is there no benefit to that? Wouldn't we save more accrued cap space that way?

Actually per CF, Price is on LTIR and Byron/Weber are on IR

Don’t forget à team can put à player on LTIR retroactively. There's no rush.

A player on NHLPA PLAYER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM is automatically on LTIR, a relief of 10.5M on the cap
