Meh. Anaheim already has a bunch of similar mid 6 potential C's on their roster right now...Steel, Lundestrom, and Groulx. With Zegras and Henrique in Anaheim for the next few years, and Perreault/MacTavish as up and coming guys, there isn't much of a need to add up the middle.

Probably a 2nd and something similar though.

I like a First, no prospect. Anaheim can retain half too.

But more likely second and prospect like it’s been posted.

A 2nd + a 3rd/prospect should be enough.

I agree with almost everything except for the Perreault take. I always thought of him as a RW and I think the Ducks do so as well. I think he played RW with Gulls last season as well, but I could be wrong.

That's fine too! I guess it depends on how they see him developing. No harm either way. He did play C in jr., so it'll be interesting to see if they give him a shot in the future. Would have been awfully bold to throw an 18 year old out there last year, in his first pro season as a C though.

Definitely.

Didn't he play RW in the OHL as well? I remember him being listed as a RW on most draft profiles. Not sure, but I think it would be best if he plays RW at the NHL level because I don't think any of the other prospects at RW will have a huge impact in the NHL (assuming Pastujov will play LW).

You know what, after looking around a bit, this is the only site that lists him as a C! I suppose a bit of time spent his father would turn him into an all time faceoff beauty though tears of joy

To reinforce what everyone else has said, from the Canadiens I think we'd be hoping for Montreal's 2022 second and Josh Brook (even though he's on the SOIR list). Or is Jake Evans and our 2022 third back too much?

I just found two more sites that also list him as a Center.

Now I'm really confusedtears of joy I nevertheless hope he'll be a RW at the NHL level because the Ducks don't have many prospects at RW. I think they'd be wasting his potential if they develop him into a bottom 6 Center (which he'd likely be with McTavish and Zegras ahead of him and Groulx on a similar level) instead of a Top 6 Winger.

tears of joy We'll just go with winger. From what I've heard, his shot probably plays best from the wing anyway. No harm in him being Comtois-esque position wise though...having versatility is a good thing.
