Description

Good interest in Vitali Kravtsov. I’m told he’s willing to play in the AHL with another NHL club and would consider a 1 year agreement around his qualifying offer for next season. However, the NYR are expecting the potential of top 6 talent in return via trade. - Per Darren Dreger

I think Kravtsov could thrive with all the Russians here and replace Palat on the top line next season

Hard to believe that any GM wants to pay the Rangers "top 6" value, when he can't even find a roster with the Rangers. Now I don't know what his upside projection but his two years in North American haven't been impressive.

The production has never lived up to the hype but this is still a 20-year-old who is considered a high-end forward prospect who projects as an eventual top-six fwd. It hasn’t worked out in NYR but they don’t exactly have a great track record with their prospects.

As Dan Milstein is his agent, I hope Dubas has at least inquired about his cost.
