You're overvaluing Kravtsov in comparison to Hayton, Brannstrom, Studnicka and Dellandrea.

Brandstrom is a huge over pay, hard pass by senators.

Kratsov is a bust only like .33 pts per game in KHL and worse in AHL, I don;t get why people think so highly of him.

Problem with this isn’t necessarily the player for player value but the fact that you’ve got a guy that won’t report to his AHL team and has been suspended. So kiss equal value goodbye

He did seem to deserve a roster spot based on his play in the preseason. I said in on other posts he wouldn't hurt going to AHL right now to get a bunch of minutes with JDB.

It would be great if he went down played a bunch of minutes as top pairing with JDB and they got some chemistry and then next year we have a solid second pairing of Brannstrom and JBD.
