I don’t think Seattle is trading geekie they really wanted him because they picked him over jake bean also why would you trade for jvr and his 7m cap hit just to put him on the forth line

Lol, maybe it won't get the Kraken THAT little. But that's still a lowball offer for a potential Team Canada player if I ever saw one. An easy no for the Desert Dogs.

Also, I understand the motivation to get JVR to generate offense but why would Seattle trade away Geekie? He seems like a good fit for the team judging from their game against Vegas, so it seems a bit irrational to cut bait with him.
