Kravtsov has not looked good these last 2 years in America no way Arizona is dealing away a talent like Hayton for him unless they get a 1st+something else

Ottawa accepts if we are making the playoffs or if we can re-sign Strome.

It must really not be that hard to run a team. 10/10 people on here would not have iced Tinordi, Nemeth, and Hunt over Lundkvist, Jones, and Kravstov. We didn't need Blais or Goodrow on this team. This is not a serious hockey organization. No idea how to win and no interest in learning how.

Just concerned with being tough. Sather slipping in and out of the 80's in his old age. Must have seen all the talent we had and wanted to fire Gorton because we didn't have enough grit to handle the Broad Street Bullies.

Edmonton isn't going to downgrade their goaltending AND give up a high pick.

Why ridiculous? Our new front office has traded away talent and brought in way overpaid scrubs to "get tough." Plus they played a guy who's barely seen NHL time over a promising prospect they previously said was ready for the big show and made him want out. It's pretty discouraging if you ask me.

Oilers have zero interest in Georgiev. More confidence in Koskinen. Georgiev has gotten worse every year in the league. The only issue with Koskinen is his salary... at $2-2.5mil he'd be a fine back-up. Giving up a pick while downgrading the back-up position is not a good idea...

I don't know if you've been paying attention but Drury has made this team a lot worse and is ruining team chemistry.

He traded a first liner for a fourth liner and a 2nd.

He drafted another winger when we still need a center.

He gave a bottom-6er a 6-year deal.

He isn't developing his prospects properly.

He is ruining relationships with his prospects by not giving them playing time as this Kravy situation shows.

Honestly, I think it was a sacrificial game to go out of our way to lay as many hard hits as possible so that every teams knows not to take liberties for the remaining 81 games. I’m sure they were hoping for a better outcome but Geo wasn’t exactly stopping shots for us either. Shesty would have stopped 2/3 of the first 3 goals. We also have a number of new players and a new coach which = new system so there will be some growing pains for the first month. I’m not concerned what so ever

I'm not really worried about yesterday specifically. Moreso the direction of the team. But we will see

What are you talking about? Developing prospects? He’s been there for 20 minutes.
1. Buchnevich wasn’t a first liner
2. Drafting for need is ridiculously stupid. Guy probably won’t be in the nhl for 5 years if ever.
3. Not a great contract for goodrow, but it addressed a need.
4. A gm shouldn’t be faulted when a 20 year old won’t report to the AHL.

His biggest move so far was Zibanejad, and it was awesome

1. Buchnevich wasn’t a first liner. He played on our top line and didn't disappoint.
2. Drafting for need is ridiculously stupid. Guy probably won’t be in the nhl for 5 years if ever. Prime example, Schneider over Lapierre. Stung us yesterday even though I love Schneider.
3. Not a great contract for goodrow, but it addressed a need. Agreed but there are literally players at the minimum who can do what Goodrow does.
4. A gm shouldn’t be faulted when a 20 year old won’t report to the AHL. They didn't deploy him properly since 2019-2020. They didn't give him a chance in the NHL with a real opportunity.

His biggest move so far was Zibanejad, and it was awesome

Buchnevich was a top line player on a bad team.
Are you serious with the draft argument?
The Russian just wasn’t good

Bad team is a little harsh. Might've been lucky but it wasn't that much of a reach. Analytics were solid and he was a 20/20 player

They literally just take an MMA fighter every year...

Kravtsov wasn't given a fair chance. He needs top 9 minutes for an extended period. If he doesn't play well then, that's when you trade him.

That's a perfectly reasonable way to feel.
