With Josi and Ekholm signed long-term and Farrance + Davies looking to make a dent this/next season, I don't see NSH trading their top offensive player for another LHD that they don't need. They'd be more interested in Amirov and Robertson -- not saying they would necessarily be available, but they'd want an offensive prospect over another defenseman.

Agreed. I also wouldn't be surprised if we actually end up seeing a Forsberg extension, tbh.

I also don't see Dubas trading prospects/picks for another rental. He will add at the TDL but for a FWD with control

Yeah, the Leafs should absolutely stop with the whole "1st round pick for 6 weeks of a player" thing. I don't disagree with moving picks for players, but the Leafs need to go more in the direction of cost-controlled assets moving forward.

No, Minnesota will keep their c prospect, and 2022 3rd round pick instead of trading for a player whose not a c, and only plays there part time because of injuries. Also, Kerfoot is nothing more than 3rd line winger who Minnesota has enough of, and aren't going to add on to their cap by bringing in Kerfoot

It was actually the first for Kyle going all in. Foligno (1st, 4th, 4th (for retention), Rittich (3rd), Hutton (5th) all gone. He saw the opportunity to go far last year, just sucks the players didn’t perform. He usually deals for players with term (Muzzin, Campbell) at the TDL
