Good promising young kid. Probably could cook for 1 more year but the issue is he won't learn much else in the QMJHL. Wish he could go to the AHL.

Honestly he played very sheltered minutes and besides scoring that goal ,which was an amazing individual effort by Oshie, he wasnt noticeable at all. it was his first NHL game and it couldnt have gone better for building his confidence but all that being said i want to see CMM play the next game or the game after. He is a high end talent and if i remember right lead Canada in ice time during the WJC. He might look even better and i think since he killed it in Hershey last year he deserves an opportunity to play also... LAppy CF% FF% xGf% were pretty awful. like i said first game but looking beyond the goal he has a long way to go imo. Fehérváry imo was impressive and thats who im most excited about him Jensen and Schultz all impressed me....TVR also. great game... is Kuzy still a risky 7.8m guy that has seen his best days gone by? lol love it

Yep. Have to play 4 years in Juniors or be 20. He can play in the AHL next season, but for now it's either QMJHL or NHL, nothing else.

Depends what minutes he's getting. Is he getting top 9 time? Sure because he can learn. But what happens when Backy gets back? If they are just going to sit him they need to send him back to the Q so he's playing big minutes somewhere.

could also look into trading Eller... for an upgrade on defense or a great pick in a deep draft

I don't think the Caps will ever trade Eller unless they absolutely need to.

i was thinking if Seattle offered Dunn for him something hard to pass up. They need to make room for LAp and CMM

I think they'd move Eller to wing before trading him, which would be fine. An Eller-Lap/McM-Oshie line next season would be great.

thats fair but i would try to get the most value out of an expiring asset as i could. next year he would have 1 year left and if you could get a 2nd + prospect for him youd almost have to do that since he doesn't fit into the future of this team
