Tough spot deciding between Kostin, Neighbours and Neal for two depth roles. Can someone elaborate on the nine games a team is allowed to have a rookie play before sending him back to Juniors? I assume only Neighbours is eligible for this. If that's the case it makes sense for Kostin to sit so we can take a better look at what Neal and Neighbours can offer, given we have not seen them play meaningful games (on our team) before. Otherwise line-up looks solid. Excited for Sunny to get back and interested to see if Doug makes a move to bolster the D.

basically he can play in nine games before the Blues can decide whether to send him back to juniors or not (because of his age, he is not eligible to play in the AHL), they can play him in 9 straight or spread the games out so he can practice with the pros. At this point practicing with the big boys might be more beneficial to him than playing in juniors.
