Don't think Svech has the speed to be a Top 6 guy at all. Personally I think Wheeler's perfect spot on this team is 2RW, 1PP but I feel I'm in the minority there.

Copp/Stastny - Scheifele - Ehlers

Connor - Dubois - Wheeler

You very well could be right... the point of this is Maurice will never try to see if you are right or not and that wheeler does not belong on the first line and copp is a grinder and does not belong in the top 6. also how can you say svech doesn’t have to speed to play top 6 but have stastny penciled in on the first line?

I think svech is perfect role is with harkins and Lowry, especially the amount of ice that Maurice gives them. Jets have to see what copp is and if harkins can replace him next year or if he needs to get paid and remain in top 6. Vaselainen needs to be in the mix and stastny and Wheeler need to be moved up and down the lineup as needed. Would like to see perfetti with scheifele and Connor or ehlers

Stastny has a spot on this team this year.

The other thing is I think svech has showed more than ves has up to this point I’m not saying my lines are perfect but Maurice has to get over his vet loyalty this year we have much better options for the top 6 than wheeler and copp they both belong on the third line with Lowry. Like you have in your list and I have in mine I think most jets fans would agree with us that wheeler has passed his prime and it’s time for his role to show that.

Yeah the thing is I still think Wheeler can be a relatively decent player. However Maurice puts him in a position that is just way too much to ask of him at this point. I actually think he would do very well on a line with Copp and Lowry because that is the type of game more suitable for him now. He can still be a pp1 threat but definitely not on his offside taking 1 timers like we saw last night. Honestly Wheeler should use his captain responsibilities to ask for a role reduction at this point, because we all know POMO is never going to have him drop in the lineup willingly

Totally agree with everything you said. The nice part is his power play spot last night won’t happen again he was just filling into Scheifs spot.
