Why wouldn't you just lock up Dobson for 6 years between 5-5.5 million long term than give him a medium term like deal that makes no sense

2. Salo>>>bolduc.

So i agree on some and disagree on others.

1. Dougie and slavin you have a point with.

2. Josi and ellis is a moot point, bc pelech-pulock is better than josi-ellis.

3. Werenski and jones dont come close to any of the 3 pairings mentioned before.

4. Theodore and pietrangelo is better.

5. Hedman and sergachev is better.

*but heres the thing, its very hard to know how these guys would play if they were together. I doubt theodore petro, will do as good together as they do seperately. In terms of hedman sergachev this probably applies a little less imo simply bc of the way that system is but its hard to compare pairings to 2 seperate defensmen.

6. Toews and makar is better.

7. Weegar and ekblad is probably also.

8. Theres no way in hell you actually think letang and dumoulin are better than pelech and pulock. So in actual pairings its the 3rd best this year, and was the 4th best last year.

Both look good in their roles, Salo as a better Leddy and Bolduc as a better Mayfield.

But agreed Trotz will only run 1 rookie at D and that will be Salo.
