I love that your hate for Marner completely clouds your rational thinking. Even if you absolutely despise Marner, would you rather have 11 mil in dead cap, or play the teams leading scorer for 3 of the last 4 seasons. Either way, you've got 11 mil on the books so you may as well play the guy who has continually proved to be a top player on this team and in the league. I remember in one of my ACGM's, you said you didn't like Brennan Mennell because he was getting "bullied around", so would you care to explain why you have SDA in the Leafs top 6? Obviously being "bullied around" as you so elegantly put it was not something that crossed your mind there. Engvall maybe has 2 more chances at cracking the lineup at most before he is replaced, and Semyonov probably stays with the Marlies for a bit. So did Mennell. Lots of people looked good in the preseason, its not a concrete indication of a player's skill at the NHL level. SDA is still AHL, not NHL top 6
