Description
Moving big hitter( slow footed) Zadorov to play with fellow Russian Gavrikov may not keep a lot of odd number waves away from the Columbus net, but the bodies flying around will put butts in seats and gives flames cap room. johnny to the Devils gets them into a higher level of contention which might get more than what I asked for which sets up the Eichel trade without leaving the Calgary cupboard bare

It’s been said many times over, but apparently needs to be said again. You actually have to give Buffalo some thing they want in return for Eichel, not just the pieces you’re prepared to offer. Buffalo has plenty of young goaltenders and no need for Wolf, and more left-handed defensemen that are already better than Välimäki than they could even use. New Jersey’s first round pick is the only piece of any real value to them being offered here. You would have to offer forward prospects, specifically Zary or Pelletier or Kevyn Adams hangs up the phone before you waste any more of his time.

I think people aren't taking into account how much Eichel's value has dropped. He can't get surgery until he's traded, so he wont play for at least this season with recovery time even if he gets traded now. That severely drops his value, plus that we don't know how he'll be post surgery. Team's can't afford to take that risk, so Buffalo will have to get much less than initially expected. Friedg made a good point that conditional picks probably need to be involved

Why would you trade Gaudreau then trade for Eichel?

Buffalo doesn't need goalie prospects and Calgary does so not thanks on moving Wolf.

Gutting the already questionable dcore is a bad move too

Remove Dustin Wolf from this. Everyone disrespects him, even EA Sports (how is his potential in NHL 22 only a low starter? He’s gotta be AT LEAST medium elite)

I never asked for more, stop assuming thats what i mean. The Sabres have no need for dmen and goalies, the arent trading their franchise center for more. Makes 0 sense

The estimated recovery time on the replacement surgery is 6- 8 weeks and we just started the season so he could easily play its the matter if he returns to his playing ability that affects the value

The 5 teams that are reportedly in on Jack are all ok with him having the disk replacement which carries a recovery time of 6-8 weeks. and there is a 90% chance that in 4 months he is the exact same player.

I think you are overestimating how much his value has dropped. If the Sabres wanted to move him for spare parts the trade would have happened already.

Zary or Coronato would have to be included without a doubt.
